Private
wedding sites are especially nice if you have a larger
party. With most sites, you will not have other guests or
tourists walking past your private wedding spot, like you
will at the hotel resorts. (If a property fronts a beach,
unless it is inaccessible, there may be people on the beach
as all beaches are public in Hawaii).
With a
private site, you can book the exact date and time and know
for sure that it will be available. You will often be able
to have alcohol if you desire at most private locations.
And some will allow you to have your reception at their
site.
We are always on the look out for
private Maui wedding sites and we have several that we are
not allowed to show on our website. If you desire a private
Maui wedding location, and don't see what you want here,
make certain that you call us. There are simply some sites
that the owners don't want published on the Internet.
Akine
Ocean Front Home
(Kihei)
This site is right on the ocean in
Kihei. The grassy lawn and shade trees provide a refreshing
shelter from the sun. A secluded sandy beach is just a few
steps from the edge of the property. The site fee is quite
reasonable but there is a limit to only 15 in your party.
It is available for a two hour rental for wedding only.
This property has four ocean front condos as well that can
be rented out for your stay. Call us for the rates (there
is a three-night minimum).
Olowalu
House
The Olowalu House is located just outside Lahaina. It was
originally built as a Plantation House and was beautifully
restored to it's 1929 condition in
1998. The house has a room for the bride to get
dressed in as well as a kitchen available for catering.
Weddings take place on the spacious lawn overlooking the
ocean. A cement dance floor is there for after dinner
entertainment. This location can accommodate guests up
to 100 guests with ample parking.
Kailana
House
This beautiful
home located oceanfront in Ma'Alea is perfect for wedding
and reception combined. Wedding and dinner can be outside,
while DJ is in the Great Room, which is awesome for
dancing. Two bedrooms make getting ready easy. Perfect
location for your dream wedding.
